A GOODBYE LETTER

 The fall of the full moon that leads to the rise of the shining sun 

The downwards shape of of your lips 

Reflection of love in your eyes 

Your soft hands on mine

Sweet fragrance as you walk beside me

And the sweet melody of your heartbeat 


We’re so close yet so far

Leaving a broken soul behind 

Yearning to see or to hear from you 

With 1000 letters unread

And a lifetime of complains unheard


Though the ink in my pens are empty 

I keep writing though the papers are blank 

Opening with joy but hug the unpleasant sound of silences and gloom

Keeping it by your bed side convinced to see a reply as i stare at the door every morning 


Its been a while but i come to you with a paper 

But this time its not empty but with a gift attached 

You said to look above the world 

And ill find see my happiness 

I found my happiness 

And am sure you’ve found yours too

My happiness doesn’t lie beneath the earth 

But above the glazing stars 


The gift I brought is a gift of goodbye 

I shall finally turn your photos with ease 

Just the way you saw your light 

I hold mine to my chest 

So this is Goodbye 

Until we meet Again🥺

BOOK REVIEW MY PATH TO HAPPINESS By  ABISOLA BIYA This book is a motivational book that talks about many things like the emotions,Financial liberation,Acceptance,Reality and time. This book is filled with fact and scenarios on each topics, it also provides scholarly definitions or point of views. I felt like this book really inspired me to be a better version of myself, why it is important to be financially independent, how to be appreciative, negativity and most importantly Self esteem. The writer talked about thing we all can relate to because it’s inevitable. What really got my attention in the book was where she talked about racism where she explain We (Black) do more of racism between ourselves just like racism between the whites.
